New Queen's Portrait

Harte Unveil new Portrait of the Queen

January 2012

New Queen's portrait

Harte Lodge 4217 at their recent Installation in January of Bro Colin Wilson unveiled a new picture of the Queen to commemorate Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee. The portrait was present to W Bro Peter Hodgson PPSGW representing the hall company at Raby road, Hartlepool by W Bro Colin Wilson as one of his first acts as Master. W Bro Bro Hodgson thanked and commended the Brethren of Harte Lodge for their very kind gesture to the building.

This portrait has replaced the last donated portrait which commemorated the silver jubilee of 1977. It was Lodge Charity Steward and Treasurer W Bro John Thompson's idea to refresh the portrait to reflect the Queen as she is today.
