Harte Goes Platinum at 2018 Installation

The Provincial Grand Master, Norman Eric Heaviside, attended Harte Lodge to present them with the prestigious 2021 Festival Platinum Award and a fine glass plaque for reaching this milestone, which is 130% of the lodge target.

Eric stated that Harte Lodge was the 9th in the Province to achieve platinum so far and has raised £25,361 in just 2 years against the target of £15,984 which is based on the number of members.

Then Eric presented John Thompson, the charity steward for Harte Lodge, with the Platinum pin, thanking the brethren for their continued support and encouraging them to keep up the momentum.

Previously Eric had been presented with three cheques totalling £800 - £250 for Durham Benevolence, £100 for the Durham Fishing Charity and £450 for TLC Teddies.

Earlier in the evening Harte Lodge witnessed the Installation of Roger Collins: a well-executed ceremony, which was a testimony to the effort from all those Involved.

The meeting was followed by a festive board, the tables were dressed in new tablecloths, with Harte Candelabra and Napkins. The meal inclusive of sirloin steaks cooked to order was enjoyed by all.
