Hartlepool Mason and Harte Lodge Tyler Bill Horsley pitched up once again at the Borough Hall, the scene of many Provincial meetings in the past on a summers day in July to promote freemasonry in the town, this is the second year Bill has taken on this responsibility. Bill got the idea when he held the masonic exhibition in the towns library with John Thompson in 2013.
The Heritage festival is increasing in size year on year, The chairman of the Festival Kevin Kelly was pleased that the freemasons of Hartlepool were exhibiting once again, and showing the general public how the freemason of Hartlepool both on the Headland and in the town have played their part in the town's history.
Bill was aided on the day by Lawrie Leck from Heortnesse Lodge and fellow Harte mason John Thompson. The team were support from Provincial office by Adam Lamb with stand and promotional material.
This was another exhibition of freemasonry in the community working well within our Province.
