Harte Lodge & St Oswald's have held their 3rd annual charity 'Darts & Dominos' competition with some pool thrown in for good luck.

The night again was a great success with £265 raised by the 22 Masons and 3 prospective candidates who took part in the event. Harte Lodge avenged last year's defeat and The night again was a great success with £265 raised by the 22 Masons and 3 prospective candidates who took part in the event. Harte Lodge avenged last year’s defeat and were the overall winners of all competitions this year and the trophy was presented by St Oswald's Worshipful Master, Michael Stephenson to Harte Lodge's man in the chair, Colin Wilson.

Colin thanked Duncan Maw, a member of both Lodges for organising the event on the night and to their generous Host, once again, Dave Lee (Longscar Lodge) who provided the food and facilities at his Pub, The Beaconsfield in Barnard Castle. Andy Thomas of St Oswald's was named 'most valuable player' on the night he was a dominos winner on the night and a now a winner three years in a row!

The two Lodges meet up again this month for their annual golf day, with Harte Lodge yet to decide on where this year's funds will be donated but as always, it will be a deserving cause.
