Charity Golf Day

Hartle versus St Oswald's on the Golf Course

Summer 2013

Golf Day 2013

Harte Lodge 4217 (Hartlepool) & St Oswald's 4260 (Darlington) are at it again, following on from the successful Darts & Dominos night held in June. Colin Wilson organised the 2nd annual charity golf day at Romanby Golf Club in Northallerton in June.

This gave the Lodge's the opportunity to go head to head once again in their friendly rivalry. With St Oswald's coming out on top with wins in all completions. Twenty masons from both Lodges and supporting Lodges came out on a very hot day to support a great cause.

This year £250 was raised in support of Daisy Chain – a charity for Families affected by Autism. The charity, which was established in 2003, provides a range of services, including support and activity groups for the whole family from the 5.5 acre farm in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees. Autism has a huge impact on the whole family so Daisy Chain takes into account the needs of the child, parents, carers and siblings
